Trust Bank PLC has entered into a credit guarantee agreement with the Palli Karma-Sahayak Foundation (PKSF) for the fiscal year 2026-27 under the Credit Enhancement Scheme (CES).The partnership aims to significantly expand access to formal financial services for micro-entrepreneurs operating in underserved and remote areas across the country, according to a press release.Akhlasur Rahman Bhuiyan, deputy managing director and chief risk officer of the bank, and Md Fazlul Kader, managing director of PKSF, signed the agreement at a ceremony held in Dhaka recently.Trust Bank PLC disbursed a significant amount of loans under the programme in FY2025-26.Senior officials from both institutions were also present at the signing ceremony.
