U.S. President Donald Trump reacted to the executions of detained protesters from the January demonstrations by sharing and reposting several posts on his Truth Social platform on Tuesday, July 21.
Reposting a message regarding Gol-Mohammad Mohammadi, a protester arrested during the January demonstrations and executed on July 19, Trump wrote: “This is the latest of more than 52,000 innocent protesters. When will the Democrats wake up???”
He also posted, for the second time, an image of Erfan Esfandiari, a 19-year-old youth who was arrested during the January protests and executed on July 19, on his Truth Social page.
The U.S. President further shared a photo of an Iranian woman holding a sign that read: “Don’t Kill Us.”
A day earlier, Trump had also reposted a message by activist Masih Alinejad on Truth Social regarding the execution of Erfan Esfandiari.
