Eighteen of the crimes took place last year, while one incident dates back to January 12, 2020.Durkan, from Islington, north London, had previously pleaded guilty to seven other voyeurism charges on March 26 at the same court. Prosecutor Edward Kalber described Durkan, who has two children, as someone who "poses a real risk to women and girls in our communities".The Metropolitan Police revealed they are working to trace further victims after uncovering a concealed gallery on his mobile device "containing hundreds of images and videos of women".Mr Kalber told the court: "He was filming them in their private residences in various states of undress." Women across north London who "noticed unusual activity around their home, especially late at night or in the early hours of the morning" between January 2020 and March 2026 have been urged by officers to come forward.The Metropolitan Police explained that, in January, a woman reported an unknown man repeatedly attending her home in Islington, filming through her windows in the early hours. She had been alerted to this by her neighbour, who had witnessed a man dressed entirely in black and wearing a balaclava walk towards the woman's property.The culprit was seen holding his mobile phone up to windows, appearing to record inside, before walking away. The strange behaviour was captured on the neighbour's doorbell camera.In March, officers were called to another address in Islington after a woman reported she had spotted a man recording her through her window. The suspect fled immediately when he was confronted by the victim, with the incident also captured on a security camera.In both cases, the suspect wore the same clothing, with the two locations close to each other. This led detectives to believe the incidents were connected.Targeted patrols were carried out in the area as a result and, on March 25, officers in an unmarked police car spotted a man matching the description of the suspect.The individual was observed by a plain-clothed officer as he approached an address and carried out similar behaviour.
