July 21 (UPI) -- The New York Jets will wear new white helmets for their 2026 home opener, they announced Tuesday.
Jets players will sport the new look, along with white jerseys and pants, as part of a white-out campaign for fans when they host the Green Bay Packers on Sept. 20 at MetLife Stadium in East Rutherford, N.J.
The Jets also released a miniature version of the Riddell helmet, available for sale for about $45, at their team store. The Jets' white jerseys are also available in the store for $150.
Several Jets players, including running back Breece Hall and Geno Smith, modeled the helmets on the team website and social media accounts. The white helmets feature white face masks and a green center stripe, with "JETS" decals along the sides.
