Samsung has started rolling out a beta version of Samsung Health Assistant, which it calls a fully integrated, AI-powered personal health assistant built into the Samsung Health app.

According to the company, the feature is live for eligible users in the United States, though it has not said when a wider release might follow.

The launch continues a run in which Samsung has folded AI health coaches into its watches and rings, and it lands as the firm builds out a broader AI assistant strategy across its devices.

Health is one of the clearer places for that software to prove itself, since most owners of a Galaxy phone or wearable are already generating a steady stream of data that has, until now, largely sat in charts waiting to be read.

At its core, the assistant draws on readings from five areas Samsung groups as wellness pillars: sleep, activity, nutrition, mindfulness, and vitals.
