Thomas brothers, Adam, Ryan and Scott have a fantastic relationship, but it's not always been that way after things kicked-off over a charity football match14:32, 21 Jul 2026Updated 14:41, 21 Jul 2026The Thomas brothers may be close now, but two of them spent six months at war and refusing to talk when Ryan accused Scott of letting his daughter down. The siblings' secret feud has been revealed - and it all started at a charity football match. The pair joined Adam on Sam Thompson's Staying Relevant podcast where they opened up on their lives and if they've ever had a serious falling out.Sam asked the brother how long any of them had gone without speaking to each other after an argument and things turned awkward when it turned out that former Coronation Street star Ryan said 37-yer-old Scott actually spent half a year refusing to talk to each other.Turning to Scott, Ryan said: “You can answer that one, can’t you?” Adam, clearly caught in the middle during the battle, addressed the issue, telling the host: “They fell out for a while.”Scott spoke up, saying: “Me and Ryan didn’t speak for six months. This was back in the day.” He further explained how the soap star “used to be really stubborn” when it came to arguments.“There was one time… he was playing a charity football game. I was just meant to come down and mind Scarlett while you were playing the game.“Bearing in mind, he had other people there, but wanted me there. I was so hungover. And I couldn’t get there. So next minute, we didn’t speak for six months.”Ryan told him: “You let the family down.”Scott said: “He was punishing for me for going on a night out basically and being hungover. Bearing in mind, now I never drink, I don’t punish you.”The brothers usually share a very close bond and have each found fame in their own right.Ryan joined Corrie as a teenager Jason Grimshaw in 2000 and took part in Celebrity Big Brother in 2018 where Roxanne Pallett falsely accused him of punching her. Adam has starred in Doctors, Waterloo Road and Emmerdale while Scott has appeared on Love Island twice. But they've had their fair share of trouble too. Ex Coronation Street star Ryan is arguably the best-known of the three, and his personal life has at times proven as dramatic as any soap. The 41-year-old filed for bankruptcy in 2013 following an unpaid £40,000 tax bill. Then there's his turbulent relationship with former onscreen love interest Tina O'Brien, who plays Corrie icon, Sarah-Louise Platt. The exes, who share 16-year-old daughter Scarlett, are understood to not be on shaky terms, with tensions bubbling over in 2022 when Tina was accused of smashing up Ryan's car with a baseball bat.It was later reported that the argument ensued over their differing opinions on how to raise budding actress Scarlett.Sources claimed Tina, 42, was left 'beyond raging' after her daughter left her £20,000 per year private school. Tina, who keeps a relatively low social media presence, was reportedly "desperate" for Scarlett to have a "normal upbringing and get an education", telling the Daily Mail: "She is less flashy than Ryan and did not want Scarlett to rely on their showbiz connections."Article continues belowLike this story?
