Finland's labour market weakened in June as employment declined from a year earlier and unemployment continued to rise, according to new figures from Statistics Finland.
The Labour Force Survey showed 2.658 million people aged 15 to 74 were employed in June, down by 15,000 from the same month in 2025. The number of unemployed people reached 297,000, an increase of 3,000 over the year.
The seasonally adjusted employment trend for people aged 20 to 64 stood at 75.2 per cent. The unemployment trend for people aged 15 to 74 remained at 10.5 per cent.
