President Donald Trump commended the new Prime Minister of the United Kingdom, Andy Burnham, and expressed anticipation for future discussions on matters of mutual interest.
On Monday, Trump took to Truth Social to share his thoughts after a conversation with Burnham.
The president highlighted the "outstanding relationship" between the U.S. and the UK and expressed optimism about their future collaboration.
Trump mentioned a range of topics discussed during the call, including North Sea Oil, Trade, the Military Alliance, and the Demining of the Hormuz Strait.
"We will be meeting in the not too distant future for topics of mutual interest," Trump wrote.
