I'd seen plenty of celebrity high street fashion collaborations come and go, but this one seemed better than the rest. Much more considered, and very true to the OG WAG's low-key glam style. Almost as if she'd really given them direction (a rarity, you'll find, with celeb collabs). After seeing the first range in person, I came away thinking it looked far more expensive than the price tags suggested, and it was full of pieces I wanted to take home right there and then.So when I had an early heads up a few days ago that Coleen is back with a second collection, launching in stores from 28th July, I immediately took a scan of what was going to be on offer. For this range, and for the very first time, the 40 year old is joined by her youngest son, Cass, 8, who features modelling pieces from Coleen upcoming kidswear collection – available from August. I think we can all agree that the apple hasn’t fallen far from the Wayne tree! The youngster looks just like his famous dad.READ MORE: Glowy skin base England WAG Ellie Watkins wore to the semi-final is on saleBut as for Coleen’s womenswear range launching next week, from the campaign images alone, it's clear this isn't a collection that's just chasing trends, once again. Instead, Coleen has doubled down on what made the first launch such a success: wearable wardrobe staples from £2.50 that you don't need too much imagination to style to look good. There are form-flattering jeans, basic tops with added extras to make them look pricier (like stripe prints), plenty of soft tailoring, cosy knitwear and an autumnal colour palette of burgundy, navy and rich brandy tones. All very targeted to the transitional months between late summer and the end of autumn.Of the range, Coleen says: “The response to the first launch was incredible and I'm so excited to share this next collection. When we started working together, I wanted to create clothes that genuinely fit into everyday life, and that's exactly what we've continued with this collection. As we move into autumn, it's all about versatile pieces that you can layer, dress up or down and wear again and again.”What I like most is that Coleen seems to know exactly who she's designing for. There's no attempt to reinvent the wheel, as such. Instead, it's aimed at women who want to get dressed quickly, look and feel good, and not spend a fortune doing it. And we thank her for that.Stay tuned for later this week when Mirror’s fashion team heads into Primark’s London showroom to give you a full run-down of the key pieces before their launch into stores next week!Article continues belowBy Coleen will be available in Primark stores across 16 markets from 28th July, with womenswear prices starting from £2.50.
