The pair first met at the altar in Season 13 of the dating experiment, after being matched up by experts.Filip stunned fans when he got down on one knee during the Final Vows ceremony, asking his TV wife to marry him for real. But Stella has now revealed that he unexpectedly called off their engagement via a phone call.In a lengthy statement posted on her Instagram story, the 32-year-old said the call caught her off guard."I never imagined I’d be writing something like this, but I feel it’s important to share my truth," she began.The post continued: "Filip ended our relationship. While he had clearly been processing that decision for some time, I genuinely believed we were working towards the same future. I was completely blindsided."One thing I do want to clarify is that, despite what was shown on the show, I had made the decision to move to Melbourne. I own a business that I’ve spent years building, so it wasn’t as simple as packing a suitcase."Stella was based in Sydney when she appeared on the show and decided to relocate to Melbourne for her new relationship. But she "needed a few months" to pack up her life back home."As our relationship grew, I believed moving to Melbourne made the most sense for us," she added. "It offered more family support, better work opportunities for Filip and a more affordable place for us to build a life together."The MAFS bride went on to reveal that she believed their relationship was heading towards starting a family before she received the phone call."Instead, I received a phone call ending our relationship.
