President Donald Trump has voiced his support for Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu, amid New York City Mayor Zohran Mamdani's threats of arrest during his U.S. visit.
Trump took to Truth Social on Monday and stated, "Benjamin Netanyahu will not be arrested, in any way, shape, or form, while in the United States of America." The President defended Netanyahu, saying he is fighting Iran's Islamic Republic, which he accused of killing 52,000 protesters and spending the past 47 years killing American soldiers and others.
"The only ones that should be arrested are the people that led Iran into this unprecedented SPIRAL OF DEATH AND DESTRUCTION," Trump wrote.

The Mayor's stance is based on an International Criminal Court (ICC) warrant issued against Netanyahu nearly two years ago over the war in Gaza.
