Last year, in honor of her 24th birthday, comedian and actor Grace Reiter and a few friends reenacted The Hunger Games from memory. Her totally improvised YouTube parody, titled “The Hunger Games (but better),” didn’t quite nail the nuances of the original 2012 film starring Jennifer Lawrence. But the nearly 43-minute viral spoof, which has over 12 million YouTube views, did anoint Reiter as a comedian who will commit to the bit no matter how weird it gets. And her brand of absurdist humor, full of candid confessions, fart jokes, and Harry Styles fan-fiction, definitely goes there. Whether the Wisconsin native is oversharing about an awkwardly placed pimple on her comedy podcast That’s Enough, squaring off with Tim Robinson on HBO’s comic thriller The Chair Company, or regaling her 3.9 million TikTok followers with bite-size sketches about Love Island, Reiter’s willingness to be the butt of any joke means she always has the last laugh. After starring in the 2025 Off-Broadway Parent Trap parody Ginger Twinsies, Reiter is set to appear in the Sundance teen drama Run Amok and release her next parody project, “Twilight (but better)” later this year.
