The Adamawa State Police Command has arrested one Abubakar Musa in connection with the alleged murder of Nathaniel Yusuf, 30, of Jambutu Ward, Yola North Local Government Area.
In a statement issued on Monday, the command’s spokesperson, SP Suleiman Nguroje, said the arrest followed a report lodged at the Divisional Police Headquarters, Kofare, by Grace Yusuf, the sister of the deceased.
According to the statement, she alleged that the suspect had attacked her brother.
“Acting swiftly on the report, police operatives responded to the distress call, visited the scene, rescued the victim, and rushed him to the Specialist Hospital, Jimeta, for urgent medical attention. The suspect was also arrested at the scene,” the statement partly read.
