MANILA, Philippines – Motorists need to brace themselves for another round of hefty oil price increases on Tuesday, July 21, with diesel prices increasing by P10.68 per liter, and kerosene by P11.77 per liter, and gasoline by P3.65 per liter as renewed tensions in the Middle East continue to drive up global oil prices.
Energy Secretary Sharon Garin said the government is closely monitoring oil companies to prevent hoarding and overpricing, while ensuring that pump price adjustments reflect actual movements in the global market.
