Katie Price's husband, Lee Andrews, has reportedly been freed from a second stint behind bars in a Dubai jail following alleged charges of fraud.22:12, 20 Jul 2026Katie Price’s husband, Lee Andrews, has reportedly been freed from jail in Dubai after his second time behind bars in the UAE in a matter of weeks. According to claims, the self proclaimed millionaire businessman was arrested 10 days ago and taken to Lahab police station.Reports indicate he was trying to raise £120,000 to pay off a fine, but now, after a brief period in Dubai’s Al Awir prison, he is free.Speaking to The Sun, a source said: “Lee Andrews has today been released from Al Awir prison. He was set free this afternoon following a short stint behind bars.”Despite his travel ban out of Dubai, it’s said that Lee is hoping to fly to the UK to be with Katie - although it’s claimed the former glamour model is “at the end of her tether” with Lee’s legal issues.“Whether poor Katie will be there to greet him on the other side remains to be seen,” added the insider. “Right now, she is furious with it all and fed up with all the drama and white noise her husband is bringing into her life.”However, it’s a different story altogether for Lee’s dad Pete, who is still serving time in the prison for his own crimes.“His dad, Pete, who has been caught up in Lee’s misdemeanours, remains behind bars,” the source added. Katie’s father-in-law Pete was allegedly arrested on his own fraud charges after being reported for the financial crime by a third party. It comes after voice notes were released of Lee discussing selling a sex tape that he said features him and Katie, and she spoke out saying she was "upset" by the misleading reports.Reports emerged that her husband was attempting to make an alleged £250,000 from a sex tape of them both. After being informed that, without Katie's consent, it would be an illegal act to sell such a video, he allegedly claimed he was only joking in the voice note.Following the allegations which appeared in The Sun, Katie released a statement that detailed her humiliation when it came to the story: "This story is completely untrue. I have never made such a tape, and any suggestion otherwise is false and deeply misleading."She added: "The claims appear to be based on a voice note sent from Lee discussing a tape...a tape which does not exist and never will."This material has been passed on by a third party and does not reflect reality. I feel incredibly upset, abused and humiliated that such serious and false allegations have been shared publicly without any factual basis."A source told The Sun: “Katie’s friends and family hope this will be the last straw and she’ll finally see sense. They’ve been worried sick about her ever since she met Lee and the longer she is with him, the more they fear for her well being."Article continues belowThe Mirror has reached out to Katie Price's reps for commentLike this story?
