EXCLUSIVE: Despite years of refusing to comment on diets or weight loss, Holly Willoughby's new show, Together, has partnered with weight loss pill manufacturer Voy20:02, 20 Jul 2026Updated 20:03, 20 Jul 2026Former queen of daytime TV, Holly Willoughby, is making a return to broadcasting with a new lifestyle show, Holly Willoughby Together, for YouTube scheduled to stream later this month. Her first presenting venture since stepping down from This Morning in 2023 following the Schofield Scandal (after her co-host’s affair with a younger colleague) is sponsored by Voy who make weight-loss medication. It’s an unusual move for the star who has repeatedly refused to discuss weight loss or diets throughout her 20 year career. Speaking at the launch event for the show in London today, Holly, 45, details how her new venture will include a food segment called Cook Together. She said: “It looks at cooking, it looks at having a laugh, it looks at real life stories. I have a glass of wine, sit and cook a really nice meal. And just have a laugh. I think laughter really is the best medicine.”George Pallis, Founder and CEO at Voy, is adamant that Holly's new show is "genuinely aligned" with the company and what they “believe.”The partnership is an unexpected choice as Holly - who has children Harry, 15, Belle, 15 and Chester, 11 with husband Dan Baldwin - has been vocal about not wanting to promote weight loss or diets. In 2019 Holly explained how she "deliberately" didn't discuss hers or anyone else's weight loss because people get "obsessed" and that the parents of children with eating disorders had told her that society’s "fascination" with weight made things harder for them. She said: "I don't think it's helpful to the conversation, for women generally. As long as you are healthy and happy, that's really all that matters… It's not up to me to give you a blow-by-blow account of what I've eaten that day. It's not helpful, and it's not what's important."In a separate interview in 2017, when Holly appeared noticeably slimmer, she refused to discuss her weight, saying that she "doesn't want to become part of the problem" surrounding body image. As she recounted the parents who had lost children to eating disorders, she was adamant. "I don't want to be a part of it," she said, "Body image is such a dull subject when there is so much more to talk about. As long as you're happy and you're healthy, move on."Time and time again, Holly has refused to discuss her weight, insisting all she cares about is being healthy. At the launch today, she added: “It [the show] is not going to be for everybody, everybody doesn’t have to watch it.”With two episodes per week, Holly's new show is described by herself as an extension of the things she genuinely loves - happy healthy living, fashion, beauty and real-life. There will also be a segment with fashion and beauty tips, whilst Holly will be joined by celebrity guests including Stanley Tucci, Katherine Ryan and Emma Bunton. In a press release for the show, Voy described itself as being a brand that “delivers comprehensive care across weight loss”. On their website Voy claim to help people "lose up to 21.5% body weight."They are behind Wegovy, a medication on prescription, which mimics the natural gut hormone GLP-1 to suppress a person's appetite and slow digestion. Wegovy now also exists as a pill. The pill was recently approved for use in the UK and whilst it is not yet available on the NHS.Article continues belowA spokesperson for BEAT, (the UK's Eating Disorder Charity) told the Mirror: "Weight loss drugs have been touted as a convenient "quick fix", but the reality is that they have the potential to cause serious harm in the wrong hands."We're concerned that these drugs, particularly in pill form, are being marketed as no more dangerous than taking vitamin tablets when this is not the case. We'd also urge companies to use responsible language during any and all advertising, and not trivialise the serious side effects these drugs could cause."The Mirror approached representatives for Holly Willoughby, Voy and show producers Multitude Media for comment.Like this story?
