Unlike some robotic mowers that require a perimeter wire or RTK antenna, the Neomow X SE has a wire-free setup that makes installation faster than many similar models on the market. Like a robot vacuum, it uses 3D LiDAR SLAM and AI vision for accurate mapping and obstacle avoidance, allowing it to navigate complex landscaping, shaded areas, and even mow at night. Front-wheel drive, all-terrain wheels let it climb over obstacles up to 1.6 inches high, and it supports 4G, wifi, and Bluetooth connectivity. It also features GPS anti-theft tracking and an IPX5 waterproof rating, making it safe for sprinkler exposure and rainy days. The Neomow X SE is powered by a 13Ah battery that delivers up to 2 hours of runtime. It can handle up to 0.75 acres and has an adjustable cutting height (around 1.2–3.3 inches). Its floating cutting deck adapts to uneven ground and includes an anti-clog barrier that prevents grass clippings from building up. Users can customize their mowing schedule on an app and customize up to 40 working zones, as well as define no-go areas like pools or flower beds.
