Arsenal, Tottenham Hotspur and Manchester City face disappointment in their chase for Eli Junior Kroupi with Bournemouth having told their star names there is “no way” they are leaving this summer.

Tottenham are among the clubs ready to break the bank for 20-year-old Kroupi, who is on the radar of Europe’s top sides after hitting 13 goals in a breakout Premier League season.

But sources have laughed off the idea of a £100m move in this transfer window, insisting he is going nowhere and that his asking price will be significantly more in 2027 – when the club will listen to offers for him.

The i Paper can reveal Bournemouth have in recent weeks informed Kroupi – along with other wanted stars Alex Scott, Brazil forward Rayan and defender Adrien Truffert – that they will not be allowed to leave this summer as the Cherries prepare for their first ever European campaign.

Those conversations have also taken place with the player’s representatives and family members so that “everyone is on the same page” heading into a new era under Marco Rose on the south coast.
