July 20 (UPI) -- Organizers for the 2026 Toronto International Film Festival have announced an initial lineup.
This year's Gala and Special Presentations roster will include new films from Pedro Almodóvar, Danny Boyle, Lee Chang-dong, Jesse Eisenberg, Gael García Bernal, Hirokazu Kore-eda, John Madden and Chris Rock.
The 51st annual festival will run Sept. 10 to 20 in Canada. Villeneuve: The Rise of a Legend, a sports biopic directed by Yan Lanouette Turgeon about Canadian racecar driver Gilles Villeneuve, will screen Sept. 19 as the Closing Night Film.
