Tamil Nadu Agricultural University (TNAU) has scheduled certificate verification for provisionally admitted students on its premises in Coimbatore between July 22 and July 25.TNAU has communicated the specified dates for certificate verification to the candidates through their registered email addresses and mobile numbers, with a directive to produce original educational documents: Class X and Plus Two mark sheets, community certificate and transfer certificate.After submission of these documents, candidates have to pay admission fee of ₹20,000 to confirm their allotted seat.Failure to submit the specified documents and pay the fee will result in cancellation of the allotted seat, which will be considered vacant. Of the 26,709 applications received online, 24,435 were found eligible. Of them, 15,757 applications were from female candidates for the 14 undergraduate degree programmes of TNAU and three undergraduate agricultural degree programmes of Annamalai University.Through the online counselling process, 2,856 seats are to be filled in government colleges, and 3,051 government quota seats in private affiliated colleges.Based on rank, course preference, and community reservation, candidates have been provisionally admitted under the Academic Stream reservation category.
