Crypto analyst Doctor Profit says the Bitcoin (CRYPTO: BTC) October dip many traders are waiting for isn’t coming, arguing that when the market collectively expects the same four‑year‑cycle outcome, it rarely plays out that way.
Why the Four-Year Cycle Crowd Could Be Wrong When Bitcoin was trading at highs near $120,000, the same crowd had dismissed the four-year cycle entirely because they wanted prices to keep climbing, according to the crypto influencer.
Now the same traders are using it to justify waiting for a precise bottom in September or October, Doctor Profit wrote in an X.com post, adding that nearly everyone in his network were telling him the same thing over the past two to three weeks.
"The problem is not the four-year cycle itself," the digital asset strategist wrote.
"The problem is the number of people who believe in the exact same outcome.
