Mthobisi Wonder Shozi, Lebo Nhlakanipho Magwaza, Brian Tyron Charles, and Sbonelo Sxolile Mkhuluisi were convicted of a number school robberies by the Pinetown Regional Court.
FOUR men have been sentenced to 35 years each for a series of armed robberies and kidnappings at Pinetown schools.
The four men in their 20s, who targeted schools by posing as sponsors before kidnapping and robbing staff at gunpoint, were sentenced to 35 years each for a string of crimes they committed at Pinetown schools during February 2023.
Mthobisi Shozi, 21, Brian Tyrone Charles, 25, Sbonelo Mkhulisi, 24, and Lebohang Magwaza, 24, were convicted on multiple counts of robbery with aggravating circumstances, kidnapping, and attempted robbery.
They appeared in the Pinetown Regional Court on Friday for sentencing.
