President of Miyetti Allah Kautal Hore, Bello Bodejo
The Federal High Court in Abuja, on Monday, admitted the National President of Miyetti Allah Kautal Hore, Bello Bodejo, to bail in the sum of ₦2bn over his ongoing trial for alleged $2.63m money laundering.
Justice Inyang Ekwo granted the bail after ruling on Bodejo’s application, holding that the offences with which he was charged were bailable and that the court had the discretion to admit him to bail.
The judge ordered the defendant to produce one surety in like sum.
He held that the surety must be resident in Abuja and possess a three-year tax clearance certificate.
