Professor Nikhil Vasdev to Present Results of a Recently Published Clinical Trial Featuring AirSeal® technology

CONMED Corporation (NYSE: CNMD) today announced its participation in the Society of Robotic Surgery (SRS) 2026 Annual Meeting, which is being held July 23-26, 2026 in Fort Lauderdale, FL.

During the meeting, Professor Nikhil Vasdev, FRCS (Urol), MCh (Urol), DSc will present data from a prospective randomized controlled clinical trial conducted by Vasdev et al., which investigated differences in the levels of intraoperative and post-operative pain between two abdominal insufflators, CONMED’s AirSeal® Insufflation System and Stryker’s PneumoClear Insufflator.

TITLE: Utilising intra-operative artificial intelligence to investigate the difference in nociceptive stimulus between 2 different abdominal insufflators during a Robotic Prostatectomy (RALP Clinical Trial)
