Saudi Arabia-based FLOATY Studio has raised $1 million in a funding round led by Merak Capital through the Merak Gaming Fund.
Founded in 2023 by Fahad Qaysi, Zeyad Almalki and Abdullah Salah, FLOATY Studio develops casual mobile games for international audiences and is currently building two titles: Pirasea, a pirate-themed strategy game, and Hero Squad, a sci-fi action game.
The fresh capital will be used to accelerate the development of the company's gaming portfolio, strengthen its production capabilities, and support its international growth strategy as it seeks to establish Saudi-developed intellectual property in global markets.
