Piers Morgan was reunited with his former Good Morning Britain co-host Susanna Reid09:36, 20 Jul 2026Piers Morgan returned to the Good Morning Britain studio on Monday.‌Susanna Reid was reunited with her former ITV co-host during the latest live show (July 20), which she presented alongside Ed Balls.‌Piers re-joined Susanna and Ed in the GMB studio to discuss Andy Burnham's upcoming appointment as prime minister, five years after he left ITV.‌The TV presenter notably walked off the morning programme back in March 2021 after he said he did not believe claims made by Meghan Markle during her and Prince Harry's interview with Oprah Winfrey.Susanna quickly began today's interview with Piers by discussing Andy Burnham, shortly before her ex-colleague interrupted, saying: "Hello, by the way!"‌Ed then joked: "We've not got time for that, we've got a big interview on... with you!"Piers replied: "I know you have, but at least say, 'Lovely to see you back," before Susanna quickly got up to hug him. Ed soon followed suit and also embraced Piers.Susanna said: "Nice to see you. Great to have you [back]. Now, we're in a completely different building, I can break my hug omertà," with Piers jokingly adding: "[Now] you don't have the PTSD!"‌"Now that bromance is over, or the romance is over," Susanna commented, before continuing her discussion of Andy Burnham.During the conversation, Susanna and Piers were both left speechless as they agreed on politics. Susanna said: "How come we agree? This is weird."Piers added: "This is very unsettling." Susanna then asked: "Is this what happens when you have a break?"‌"I think in most relationships, you have a few years off after a very intense marriage, [which] is what we had.
