Away from Emmerdale, Jeff Hordley is loved-up with fellow co-star Zoe Henry09:50, 20 Jul 2026Updated 09:51, 20 Jul 2026Emmerdale’s Jeff Hordley has shared a rare confession about his home life with wife Zoe Henry.‌Jeff joined the long-running ITV soap back in 2000 as Cain Dingle. Since then, he’s become one of the show’s most beloved and iconic characters.‌Away from the TV set though, Jeff is loved-up with Zoe Henry, who plays Rhona Goskirk on the programme. The pair first met at drama school and quickly struck up a relationship.‌The pair later tied the knot and went on to have two children: a daughter, Violet (born in 2005), and a son, Stan (born in 2008). And in a recent interview, Jeff gave fans an insight into his private life with Zoe.While appearing on Dingle Court on YouTube, Jeff appeared alongside Belle star Eden-Taylor Draper. The vodcast's premise is for the stars to discuss certain topics.‌“I'm going to bring to the table going to the same place on holiday more than three / four, or five times,” Eden said, before quizzing Jeff: “Where are you at on that, Jeff?”The soap star declared: “I'm with it. I'm with it. And I'll tell you why. Certainly, when my children were younger, it was nice for them to have some continuity, and for me and Zoe also to have some continuity.”‌He went on: “We're going to the same place. You knew the restaurants, you knew where the beach was. We didn't necessarily stay at the same place, but we stayed at the same resort. We didn't go back to the same place.“So, yeah, I’m with that because you know the lay of the land. So, if you like something, then surely you've got to go back.” Eden then admitted: "I probably wouldn't go to the same place more than three or four times."Jeff replied: "Yeah. I've got to say, when I was younger, like in my twenties, like yourself, I would always go, 'Why did my auntie and uncle always go to the same place all the time?' Because I thought it was really boring. Here I am, you know, in my 50s, and I do that.‌Meanwhile, previously talking about her romance with Jeff, Zoe said on Lorraine in 2022: “We got together at drama school. We've been together 28 years.”She added, “With the connection on set, we were together for 10 years before that as well. We got together in 1994, I believe."Article continues belowJeff also previously opened up about meeting Zoe, revealing it was an instant attraction. He told Soaplife magazine in 2011: "We met at drama school in 1994. I saw Zoe and realised she was the girl for me. I made moves and, fortunately, she said yes on that occasion too."Emmerdale airs Monday to Friday at 8:00pm on ITV1 and ITVX
