The glass campus in Englewood Cliffs, New Jersey, is barely a year old. Samsung opened it in September 2025 to replace the Ridgefield Park headquarters it had kept since 1992, and now roughly 739 of the people who work there are being told they can follow the company to Texas or start looking elsewhere.
The number comes from a Worker Adjustment and Retraining Notification filed with the state.
It puts Samsung Electronics America on a tech layoff list that has grown long through 2026, though the company would prefer the cuts were not read that way.
