Spain did it. They defeated Argentina in a thrilling FIFA World Cup final and there is pandemonium both online and in the hearts of fans all over the world. Pakistani celebrities weren’t immune to World Cup fever and as it turns out, many of them were supporting Spain.
From Zara Noor Abbas to Talha Chahour and Mawra Hocane, emotions were high on Instagram.
Adnan Siddiqui shared a picture of Spain hoisting the trophy and said, “No offence to Messi and Argentina fans, but today felt like comparing Wi-Fi to [Dial-up]. And if Argentina had won, Egypt and I would have unfollowed football…. Just for a week.😉”
Zara Noor Abbas was the most excited person out there, sharing a video of herself with an on-screen Lamine Yamal.
