ALBAWABA - Israeli National Security Minister Itamar Ben-Gvir joined a rally on Sunday calling for turning the Gaza Strip into an Israeli settlements area.Ben-Gvir marched with pro-settlement Israelis towards Gaza under the slogan "After 21 years, we're returning home". The protest took place near Kibbutz Zikim - Israel's border with Gaza - on July 19.This march comes in reference to the withdrawal of around 8,500 Jewish settlers from the Gaza Strip back in 2005.A video was posted on the right-wing Israeli minister's social media where he joined a march calling for Israeli plans to establish Jewish settlements throughout the entire strip, chanting the slogan "Gaza is ours".This comes amid ongoing violence between Israel and Hamas, despite the U.S.-brokered peace deal that was aimed at ending the war.
