LUCENA CITY – Face-to-face classes at two public schools in Pateros were suspended on Monday, July 20, following an alleged bomb threat.
In a public advisory posted on its Facebook page at around 5:30 a.m., the local government of Pateros announced the cancellation of in-person classes at Pateros National High School and the nearby Pateros Elementary School.
“As a precautionary measure and to ensure everyone’s safety, face-to-face classes are suspended today following the receipt of a security threat (bomb threat) at Pateros National High School (Main Campus),” read the advisory, written in Filipino.
