Thrissur-based Dhanlaxmi Bank, often referred to as “God’s Own Bank”, thanks to its long association with managing the accounts of the Sabarimala and Guruvayur Sree Krishna temples, is preparing to celebrate its centenary in 2027 on the back of a remarkable turnaround. The yearlong celebrations will kick off this November 14, said Chairman and Managing Director Ajithkumar KK.

After navigating a challenging phase between 2010 and 2022, the bank has staged a strong recovery over the past three to four years. The CMD attributed the transformation to the wholehearted support and cooperation of all stakeholders, including employees, customers and the board of directors.
