The largest ballistic and cruise missile attack on Ukraine since the start of Russia's full-scale invasion demonstrates the need to maintain support for Kyiv and accelerate the modernization of the Polish Armed Forces.
Polish Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of National Defence Władysław Kosiniak-Kamysz stated this in a post on X, Ukrinform reports.
The Polish defense minister stressed that Russia had carried out its most powerful combined ballistic and cruise missile attack on Ukraine since the beginning of the war and was also preparing for a large-scale mobilization.
"This shows just how detached from reality are the voices calling for weakening support for Ukraine or slowing down the modernization of the Polish army," the defense minister said.
Kosiniak-Kamysz emphasized that the current Polish government would continue strengthening the country's defense capabilities.
