MANILA, Philippines — The Philippine National Police (PNP) on Sunday said over 20,000 personnel will be deployed to ensure the peaceful and orderly conduct of President Ferdinand Marcos Jr.’s fifth state of the nation address (Sona) on July 27, 2026.
According to the PNP in a statement, a total of 20,229 law enforcers will be deployed to implement its comprehensive security preparations.
