The Puerto Rican music sensation was in Italy over the weekend, where he was due to thrill fans with his Debí Tirar Más Fotos World Tour.‌However, the skies above the Ippodromo Snai La Maura racecourse in Milan turned violent, with adverse weather bringing hailstones that battered the audience in the open-air venue. The bad weather began soon after 9pm on Saturday night, with social media footage showing concertgoers haplessly running for cover.‌Bad Bunny - whose real name is Benito Antonio Martínez Ocasio, 32 - was then forced to abandon the gig completely due to the bad weather. Ticket holders were later told they would be reimbursed after their dreams of watching the 2026 Super Bowl halftime show headliner were washed away.‌There was confusion as the storm began; however, fans were told to remain in their seats before being ordered to evacuate the venue. Mi Tomorrow gave a first-hand account of the dramatic scenes, writing online: "In an initial announcement over the loudspeakers, organisers asked the audience to stay in their places and wait a few minutes, hoping the storm would pass quickly."They added: "As weather conditions worsened, a second message was issued ordering the evacuation of the area and directing attendees to the emergency exits."‌Meanwhile, Milanotoday has reported that audience members were pelted by hailstones that were "the size of walnuts" and emergency services had to be drafted in to help the evacuation of the racecourse.The outlet reports: "Firefighters evacuated the thousands of people who had gathered for the performance, the artist's second show in the city." The Italian news service added: "Several spectators were injured, particularly those hit on the head by the hailstones."‌Meanwhile, Live Nation, which acted as the ticket operator for the concert, promised audience members that they would be fully reimbursed after the gig ended.They wrote on their website on Sunday: "Due to adverse weather conditions, including thunderstorms and hail, the Bad Bunny concert scheduled for July 18th at the SNAI La Maura Hippodrome in Milan has been cancelled and the area has been safely evacuated."After careful consideration and making every effort to reschedule the event, we regret to inform ticket holders that the concert has been cancelled and will not be rescheduled."‌The ticketing company continued: "The safety of everyone present is always our top priority. We thank you for your patience, understanding, and cooperation during the evacuation and sincerely apologise for any inconvenience caused." They went on: "All ticket holders will receive a full refund (ticket price + booking fee)."Live Nation then added that ticket holders would receive more information about refunds in due course.
