Russian troops destroyed a rehabilitation center for children with disabilities in the Sumy region.
Foreign Minister Andrii Sybiha reported this on Facebook, according to Ukrinform.
"I clearly remember the people who proudly showed us the Sumy Regional Center for Comprehensive Rehabilitation for Children and People with Disabilities. I remember their dedication to their work, their care for the children and adults undergoing rehabilitation, and their special love for the place they themselves called their ‘little Switzerland.’ Today, one of the center’s wings lies in ruins following a Russian strike,” he said.
According to Sybiha, he and his wife have been supporting this center for a long time and remain in constant contact with its staff.
“Here, surrounded by incredible nature, children and adults were helped to believe in themselves again, to recover, and to move forward. And it is precisely such places that Russia deliberately chooses as its targets,” he added.
