A Russian missile strike overnight on July 19 damaged the main distribution center of AMTEL, one of Ukraine’s major logistics hubs, in the Kyiv region.
Oleksandr Sokolovskyi, founder of the Textile-Contact group of companies, reported this on Facebook, according to Ukrinform.
"As a result of the massive Russian ballistic missile attack overnight on July 19, one of Ukraine’s largest logistics complexes suffered serious destruction. A ballistic missile hit AMTEL’s main distribution center near Kyiv, which provided cargo deliveries across the country," Sokolovskyi said.
According to preliminary information, the warehouse complex, covering more than 100,000 square meters, was completely destroyed.
Sokolovskyi said the logistics hub handled goods for Ukrainian businesses, medicines, humanitarian aid, and hundreds of thousands of postal shipments.
