Hart, who has been a familiar face during BBC's World Cup coverage this summer, has travelled out to the US alongside the likes of Wayne Rooney and Micah Richards to work as a pundit for Sunday's final.‌But while he was having a chilled walk, torrential rain caused Hart to get drenched. In a video on his Instagram story, the 39-year-old said: "The weather is absolutely banging here, shoes are off, trainers are ruined, COME ON!"‌The downpour forced Hart to walk barefoot as he was pictured with his shoes instead in his hands. As well as that, his white t-shirt was sodden and his sunglasses were nowhere to be seen on his head.Hart then decided to pan the camera round to show the puddles of rain on the road with a car trying to make its way through the flash flood. Meanwhile, people with umbrellas ran to shelter and tried to get from the rain. It's not the first time Hart has surrounded himself with water in recent days, after he joined ex-Manchester United forward Rooney in rowing the River Hudson in New York. Rooney agreed to row if Norway reached the quarter-final after the Scandinavian nation performed the infamous Viking Row celebration at the World Cup.‌Although Rooney initially suggested he would row the River Mersey, he changed to the River Hudson instead upon arriving into New York for the final week of the tournament. And as Norway beat Brazil to progress to the last eight, Rooney kept to his wish as he was captured on the Hudson rowing along with Hart and Richards.Content cannot be displayed without consentHart, Richards and Rooney are poised to be part of the BBC punditry team working on Sunday's World Cup final between Spain and Argentina at the MetLife Stadium.‌Luis de la Fuente's Spain are hoping to win the tournament for the second time and the first time in 16 years, while Lionel Scaloni's Argentina are hoping to go back-to-back after running out on top four years ago in Qatar.Spain progressed through to the showpiece final following a 2-0 win against France on Tuesday, while Argentina came from behind to beat England 2-1 and get to their third final in four tournaments.Join our new WhatsApp community and receive your daily dose of Mirror Football content.
