In a time when conversations around beauty are increasingly influenced by social media trends and changing standards, Busola Fagbemi believes the focus should go beyond appearance and centre on confidence, self-care, and personal transformation.
Fagbemi, founder of Lush Aesthetic and Recovery Clinic, said her approach to aesthetics is rooted in helping individuals feel more confident about themselves rather than trying to change who they are.
“For me, aesthetics has never been about changing people; it’s about helping people reconnect with the best version of themselves,” she said.
According to her, the true impact of beauty and wellness goes beyond physical results, as confidence remains a major part of how people present themselves in their personal and professional lives.
