Air defenses shoot down 17 anti-ship and ballistic missiles in massive attack

Air defense forces intercepted 17 Russian “Iskander-M”/“Zircon”/S-400 ballistic missiles, one Kh-59/69 guided air-to-ground missile, and 108 drones.

According to Ukrinform, the Ukrainian Air Force reported this on Telegram.

Starting at 6:00 p.m. on July 18, the Russians launched a massive combined strike against Ukraine using attack UAVs and various types of air- and ground-launched missiles.

The main target of the strike was Kyiv.

In total, the Air Force’s electronic warfare units detected 166 air attack weapons—41 missiles and 125 drones of various types.
