It means Nasraoui is set to cheer on the 19-year-old Barcelona superstar from home.He explained: "I'm an epileptic. I have to take a lot of medication every day, and I can have an epilepsy seizure."I could be here, right now, under the effects of stress or emotion, and have a seizure without realising it. So you always have to think things through carefully."Before traveling, you have to think about me, about him, and about all the people around us, you know? I might end up causing problems. So it's better to stay home and watch all this from here."Around a month after Yamal's last major tournament, Euro 2024 - which he won, dad Mounir was stabbed in a parking lot. The authorities arrested four people in connection with the incident. He remains very close to his family despite his superstardom. His brother Keyne, who is three years old, has been one of the heroes of this World Cup due to his celebrations in the stands."I come from an apartment where the kitchen and the bedroom were the same space," Yamal recently stated, citing his humble beginnings."I see my mother happy, I see that my brother can have the childhood I would have liked to have, and that's what makes me happiest."Fatima, Yamal's paternal grandmother, left Morocco on a bus that she wasn't legally allowed to board. She would work shifts just so her son could join before he ended up having Yamal as a teenager. Now that 19-year-old is about to walk out on the biggest stage of all. While Yamal's parents split when he was three, his football career took off soon after. He joined Barcelona's youth ranks at seven, though he was actually scouted at the age of seven and at the age of 15, he made his big breakthrough into the first-team.In doing so, he became the youngest player to make their debut for the Catalan giants since way back in 1922.Yamal has scored just one goal at this World Cup but after shaking off a thigh issue, he is expected to start against Argentina as he looks to add a second international trophy to his cabinet.Article continues belowGet the latest World Cup news straight to your inbox by signing up to our Make Football Great Again newsletter now!Join our new WhatsApp community and receive your daily dose of Mirror Football content.
