Tobore Oborevwori, wife of the Delta Governor and Founder of the YMCF, with beneficiaries of the 30 wheel chairs donated by her foundation to children with special needs in Okpe/Sapele/Uvwie Federal Constituency on Thursday.

The You Matter Charity Foundation (YMCF) in collaboration with the Delta State Ministry of Health has reached out to children living with autism and related developmental conditions in Okpe/Sapele/Uwvie Federal Constituency of the state, providing them free medical consultations, health education, essential medications, 120 bags of rice, 30 wheelchairs, three smart boards, physiotherapy toys, educational devices and other assistive materials.

The free medical outreach which marked the commencement of the second phase, forms part of the foundation’s broader healthcare and social intervention programmes aimed at promoting inclusion, improving access to quality healthcare and ensuring that children living with autism and other special needs receive the care, dignity and opportunities they deserve across Delta State.

Speaking during the programme held at Osubi Secondary School, Thursday, Tobore Oborevwori, founder of the YMCF, told the beneficiaries, parents, caregivers and stakeholders that the initiative was driven by the foundation’s vision of building a society where every individual is valued regardless of disability or social status.
