Less than 24 hours after leading the All Blacks to a commanding 40-21 victory over Ireland, captain Ardie Savea was back on Samoan soil.
Savea and his wife, Saskia, arrived at Faleolo International Airport with their three children for a brief family visit before travelling to Fiji.
The family was met by Krista Liu of local car rental company Lulu, where they had arranged a vehicle for their stay.
The Saveas had travelled to Samoa to bring their parents over for a week before continuing on to Fiji.
Savea arrived fresh from another impressive performance in the All Blacks' victory over Ireland, scoring a try from the back of a five-metre scrum as New Zealand secured its fifth consecutive win over the Irish. The All Blacks took control through dominant forward play before their backs capitalised on Ireland's mistakes, building a 28-7 halftime lead and eventually sealing a 40-21 victory.
