Argentina's Lionel Messi and Spain's Lamine Yamal will go head to head in the Fifa World Cup final on Sunday.

The stage is set for a Fifa World Cup final for the ages.

Reigning champions Argentina will face European giants Spain in Sunday’s showpiece match, with the world’s top-ranked side chasing history against a La Roja team aiming to add a second star to their famous crest.

Argentina, who lifted their third World Cup trophy in Qatar four years ago, are bidding to become the first team since Brazil in 1962 to win back-to-back titles. Standing in their way are Spain, the 2010 champions, who have returned to the final for the first time in sixteen years.

Spain booked their place in the showpiece match after defeating France 2-0 in the semi-final on Tuesday whilst Argentina produced a stunning comeback a day later to beat England 2-1 and keep their dream of defending the title alive.
