A league source, who was granted anonymity to speak candidly to describe contract negotiations, confirmed an earlier ESPN report that the pact is for $90 million.Bradish, 29, looked like a potential star in 2023, when he finished fourth in the American League Cy Young Award voting in his second big-league season. He only made 14 combined starts over the next two years, but he has a 3.61 ERA over 19 starts this season and leads Baltimore’s pitching staff with 1.7 bWAR.News of Bradish’s extension comes on the heels of Reds All-Star starter Chase Burns signing a seven-year, $105 million extension. The Orioles have inked two pitchers to long-term extensions this year, with righty Shane Baz signing a five-year, $68 million deal in March.Bradish’s extension buys out two years of arbitration and will keep him under team control through the 2031 season. The Orioles were 47-51 entering Saturday, but sit just two games back of the Boston Red Sox for the AL’s third wild-card spot.
