Over the past 24 hours, six people, including three children, were injured as a result of Russian attacks in the Chernihiv region.
According to Ukrinform, Vyacheslav Chaus, head of the Chernihiv Regional Military Administration, reported this on Facebook.
According to him, Russian troops attacked Novhorod-Siverskyi the previous evening with a “Geran”-type strike drone. A family—parents and three children—was injured when the drone struck a residential building. An 11-year-old boy is receiving outpatient treatment. His brothers are at the Chernihiv Regional Children’s Hospital: the 17-year-old is in stable condition, while the 7-year-old is in serious condition. The family’s home was completely destroyed.
Later that evening, Russian troops also attacked the village of Berezna with strike drones. A truck caught fire there, and a farm building was damaged. A 59-year-old man sought medical attention.
In the morning, a Russian “Molniya” drone struck one of the villages in the Novhorod-Siverskyi community. As a result of the attack, a farm building caught fire and a residential house was damaged.
