Rivers State Governor, Siminalayi Fubara, has extended his heartfelt condolences to the former governor of the state, Rotimi Amaechi, over the death of his mother, Dame Ezinne Amaechi.
In a condolence message issued on behalf of the government and people of Rivers State, Fubara expressed deep sympathy with the former governor, describing the death of his mother as an irreparable loss not only to the immediate family but also to the Catholic faithful, the entire Ubima community and Rivers State.
This was contained in a statement issued in Port Harcourt on Saturday by the Chief Press Secretary to the governor, Mr Onwuka Nzeshi.

He acknowledged the vital role Mama “played in shaping the character and values of her family and the community at large.”
