There were still 1,246 tickets left on general sale listed at a price of £657 and £855.‌There was another 5,864 tickets going on the official resale platform, with the cheapest being category three costing £346 plus Fifa’s 15 per cent fee. FIFA have also been cutting prices for the more expensive categories listed in a bid to avoid embarrassing empty pockets of seats.To underline the savings that are now available, a category one ticket originally cost £855 and is now going at £500. Tickets have not sold out yet for Sunday’s World Cup final either, with more than a thousand tickets available on the FIFA resale site.Interest in Saturday's game could be muted.
