The nostalgia phenomenon sweeping over Hollywood continues with “Elle”, the “Legally Blonde” prequel.
Released on Amazon Prime Video last month, the coming-of-age comedy-drama series is set six years before the events of the 2001 cult classic film.
While Reese Witherspoon, who starred in the titular role in both “Legally Blonde” and its sequel, does not appear in this eight-episode show, she is an executive producer on the programme created by Laura Kittrell, with “Pitch Perfect” director Jason Moore helming the first two episodes.
