Automotive manufacturer Isuzu Motors South Africa has opened a R2-million AI, Coding and Robotics Lab at Khulile Primary School, in Motherwell, in the Eastern Cape, providing access to cutting-edge digital learning technologies for 650 learners from Grade R to Grade 7.
The lab is the second AI, Coding and Robotics Lab established by the company in Gqeberha.
Delivered in partnership with robotics, coding and AI education company Sifiso EdTech through Future Nation Foundation, the initiative aims to equip learners with the future-ready digital skills needed to thrive in an increasingly technology-driven economy.
The investment creates a sustainable digital learning ecosystem. Through hands-on exposure to coding, robotics and AI, learners will develop critical thinking, creativity, collaboration and problem-solving skills.
Further, educators will receive comprehensive South African Council for Educators-endorsed training to effectively integrate coding and robotics into classroom learning.
